Eigg Mountain

Renewable Energy Systems (RES) is the world’s largest independent renewable energy company with our Canadian operations having over 20 years of experience developing in Nova Scotia and across Canada. RES is developing a wind power project near Connors Mountain Road, Antigonish County. The project is in the late stages of planning, and we are actively seeking input from the community to help design the project. To learn more about the Project, click here. 

RES has been awarded the Eigg Mountain Wind Farm project through the Green Choice Program. We are eager to collaborate with the community to bring this mutually beneficial project to life, providing clean energy, local economic opportunities, and long-term benefits to the region.

RES is pleased to announce that on 18 February 2026, Eigg Mountain Wind Inc, a Renewable Energy Systems Canada (RES) company, registered the Eigg Mountain Wind Project for environmental assessment, in accordance with Part IV of the Environment Act.
