Eigg Mountain Wind Farm
RES is in the late stages of developing a wind farm
The Eigg Mountain Wind Project will generate enough electricity to power up to 55,000 homes, deliver local economic benefits, and support Nova Scotia in its clean energy transition.
Located in Antigonish County, the 154MW wind farm will feature 22 wind turbines and inject over $150 million into the local economy. The project has received a Power Purchase Agreement with Nova Scotia Power through the Green Choice Program, and is currently undergoing an environmental assessment, with construction planned to begin in Spring 2027.
